BSF kills one in Lalmonirhat

A Bangladeshi national was gunned down by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) on Singimari border in Hatibandha upazila of the district yesterday.Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) sources said the Indian border guards of Fulbari camp entered Bangladesh territory in the morning and fired at Hafizul Islam, 30, while he was working in his crop land. Hafizul died instantly. BDR sent a letter to its Indian counterpart protesting the killing.
