June 03, 2005       Culture A Campaign Against Aids "Ashun Aids Niye Kotha BolieXpress 2005" with this title a vigorous campaign was held recently at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Hall. This caught the attention of many. Organised by the Bangladesh Centre for Communication Programmes (BCCP) and Square Group this programme featured a countrywide campaign to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS. For this a special cultural show was held with the music band LRB, Shakila Zafar, Mahmuduzzaman Babu, Bappa Majumdar and Asif.Also, a group of Baul singers on a truck performed in different spots of the city to generate public awareness about AIDS. .
