BCCI to endorse Greg as coach

The working committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) began a two-day session here Thursday afternoon to consider various issues including ratification of the appointment of Australian Greg Chappell as Indian team coach.The meet is also expected to discuss the proposed merger of Women's Cricket Association of India (WCAI) with BCCI, TV rights issue, conduct of next year's ICC Champions Trophy and issues relating to state cricket associations, BCCI sources said. The meet, being attended by 23 members from across the country including nine BCCI officials and 14 representatives of state associations, would also discuss Indian team's tour programmes to Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe later this year.
