NUS presents drama to raise awareness about Aids
Nari Unnayan Shakti (NUS) presented a street drama titled 'Lily Banur Sangsar' at the Central Shaheed Minar in Chittagong yesterday to raise awareness about HIV/Aids among the people, says a press release.

It was the 300th show of the drama written by Dr Sultan Muhammad Razzak, executive director, FCHD, and directed by Pizush Kanti Borua, a medical officer of NUS.

A programme of folk songs on HIV/Aids was also held after the presentation of the drama. The songs were written by Afroja Parvin, executive director of NUS. The event was coordinated by Sheikh Amina Ahmed, field coordinator of NUS.

The Nari Unnayan Shakti has been conducting Aids awareness campaign and providing STI care services in Dhaka, Chittagong and Barisal cities through seven drop-in-centres.
