Over two hundred players in 19 teams participated in the meet and the proceeds would go toward starting the Shabab Memorial Fund.

The fund will be used to sponsor sports trips for children who would otherwise not be able to go on. In this way, Shabab will continue to contribute to sports at ISPP.

Shabab Murshid (15), son of eminent economist Dr KAS (Firdous) Murshid and artist Shameem Subarna and grandson of Prof Khan Sarwar Murshid, passed away on May 10 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia while playing basketball.
