My regards to Mr. Abdul Latif Mondal, a former secretary of GoB, for initiating the very important issue of making parliament an effective institution. It will be good if we can have more view points on this issue. Personally, I fully share his prime concern about the role of speaker in making parliament effective.However, the role of individual members is also equally important to make parliament a useful institution.
