The FIFA boss was expected to make a 24-hour visit to Dhaka during his tour of the region but Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) informed yesterday that he has cancelled his scheduled tour.

"We have been informed over telephone that he (Blatter) would not making this trip. But it was not possible to say the reasons behind the cancellation," said BFF general secretary Anwarul Haque Helal yesterday.
