Tripura governor visits Akhaura check post

Dinesh Nandan, governor of the Indian state of Tripura, yesterday visited the Akhaura border check post where commanders of the BDR and the BSF were present.Talking to the commanders and border officials, Dinesh Nandan stressed the need for maintaining peace along the border for the sake of good neighbourly relationship. On April 16, three people, including a 10-year-old student, were killed in BSF firing at Kuripaika village.
