Visitors' entry to PMO to be controlled by ICT system

Visitors' entry into the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) will be processed through a computerised system to make the access simple and monitoring viable.

Online access control system for the visitors, having information and monitoring facilities, has been developed under ICT System Development Project at the PMO.

Talking to the news agency, Project Director Engineer Mahbub Sarwar said the online access control system is now in trial operation.

He said the data-based mechanised method is easy to use which can be accessed from anywhere within the PMO as well as good reporting and monitoring system.

Competent officials can now issue an entry pass from their personal computer as online personal computers have been set up at the gates of the PMO, where names of the officers requesting a pass and particulars of the visitors will be displayed.
