Amarabotir Swapno
A new telefilm in the making

The Shubha Maharat of the telefilm Amarabotir Swapno was held at a local restaurant Friday last. Eminent writer Rabya Khatun was the chief guest of the programme while the writer, director, producer, actors and the production crews of the telefilm were also present on the occasion.

The chief guest formally handed over the story of the telefilm to the director Akhtaruzzaman Tuhin. The producer Mahmud Haque Shamim said in his speech that to promote new artistes and produce quality television plays is the prime target of Kashbon Multimedia.

About the story of the telefilm, the writer Moni Haydar said, "The dreams people cherish do not always come true , but they help one to keep going on for the sake of life."

Under the banner of Kashban Multimedia Productions, the telefilm features Tony Dayes, Kushum Shikdar, Nusrat Diana, Chitralekha Guha, Abul Hayat and others. The story of the telefilm is about a young girl and her dreams. The story starts with the arrival of Saifa from London after 15 years. When Saifa meets neighbour Sanju, she falls for him. She cherishes a dream to get married to this personable boy. However, after garnering some hitherto hidden information from Tanzila, another girl next door, Saifa realises that her dream will not come true.

As the protagonist of the telefilm, Nusrat Diana will debut with this performance. The concept of the story is also developed by the Khulna-based Nusrat.
