Road accident kills one in Sylhet

Traffic on Sylhet-Companyganj road at Khagail was disrupted for about four hours on Thursday evening following a road accident that left one man killed and two others injured.Police recovered the body of Sultan Mia, 35, a tractor driver hailing from Zakiganj upazila, and sent it to hospital morgue for autopsy. Sultan Mia died on the spot as he was thrown into a roadside ditch after his tractor was hit by truck in its bid to save a cow which strayed on to the road about 6:30 pm. Injured Kamal and Murshed, who were travelling on the tractor, have been admitted to Osmani Medical College Hospital in a critical condition.
