Young Mehrab hogged the spotlight with some brilliant knocks in the ongoing National Cricket League including a century for Dhaka while Rajshahi seamer Russel had a bright show with the BCB XI in the Indian Duleep Trophy.

In their long stay in Australia, they will play in the Darwin League.

On the other hand, Barisal wicketkeeper Shahin Hossain who struck a rich vein of form with the bat also in the National League, and another left-arm paceman Shafaq Al Jabir were selected to train at the Australia's Commonwealth Bank Cricket Academy for a month.

All four players are expected to fly to Down Under on April 14.
