Bangladesh Navy and Old Dhaka Hockey Development Board recorded comfortable wins in the Independence Day Hockey Tournament at the Maulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium yesterday. Navy thumped Barnak Samaj 5-1. Hossain struck twice while Gazi, Rashid and Bhuiyan added one each for Navy. Rajon scored the only goal for the vanquished. Star-studded Old Dhaka Hockey Development Board thrashed Bangladesh Army 4-1. Maksud Alam Habul scored two goals while Rafiqul Islam Kamal and Rahul Kanti Roy bagged one each for the winners. Maksudul Haque got the consolation for Army.
