Renu Begum, 45, a housewife, was crushed under the wheels of a speeding pick up van while she was crossing the GMG Road at Tejgaon Industrial Area at about 3:00pm.

Ali Miah, 60, a resident of Badda Nikunja area, was run over by a vehicle on the Airport Road near Nikunja at 1:00pm.

A speeding truck hit a woman of Fakirapool area at Dainik Bangla intersection under Motijheel Police Station in the early hours yesterday. She died on the spot.

The woman named Kalar Ma, 75, met the accident while she was crossing the road at 2:30am.

Police recovered the bodies and sent them to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy.
