The Partex Open squash tournament got underway at the Gulshan Club yesterday with favourite Ram Jagadish defeating Dilu 9-4, 9-3, 9-5 in a Premier Division match.Bishunath beat Masud Rana 9-5, 9-6, 9-6 while Swapan Parvez outplayed Mohammed Karim 9-1, 9-4, 9-4 in other Premier Division matches. About 104 players are taking part in six divisions. SM Abdul Mannan, president of Gulshan Club, declared the meet open. Rubel Aziz, director of Partex Group, was present as special guest.
