The leaflets read: "Let's get united and vocal to protest the arrest and demand release of eminent Aleem, educationist and Ameer of Ahle Hadith Movement Dr Muhammad Asadullah Al Galib." The principal of the college said a five-member committee was formed to probe the matter and submit a report by April 7. If the allegation against Huq is proved, necessary action would be taken against him according to rules. Leaders of student organisations including Chhatra Moitree, Chhatra Front, Biplobi Chhatra Moitree alleged Huq is an agent of the extremist militant organisation. When contacted, the teacher disputed the allegation saying he did not have any leaflet in his room.
