US and human rights

With the US invasion of Iraq being responsible for the deaths of over one hundred thousand Iraqi civilian men, women and children and maiming of several hundreds of thousands of Iraqi people, it is amusing to see US Under Secretary for Global Affairs lecturing Bangladesh about human rights (DS, March 1). If ever there was a case of the pot calling the kettle black, this is it!
