Case against 5 Jubo Dal men

A case has been filed against five Jubo Dal leaders and activists yesterday on charge of assaulting a journalist at Debhata.The victim Akhtaruzzaman filed the case with Debhata thana against Abdul Habib Mantu, Abdul Halim, Moslem Ali, Farooq and Salahuddin. Police said a gang of hoodlums attacked Monsur Ali, an assistant settlement officer, and Ali Kadar, upazila nirbahi officer, over a settlement case on Wednesday. The gang also beat Akhtaruzzaman as he started taking photographs of the incident.
