Asma Kibria blasts Moudud comments

Asma Kibria, wife of Shah AMS Kibria, severely criticised the law minister's comment that the family of the former finance minister declined the government's offer to provide with helicopter to carry him to Dhaka after he was injured in Habiganj grenade attack.Meanwhile, Kibria's family will formally launch a peaceful programme titled 'Shantir Pokkhe Nileema' tomorrow (blue for peace) demanding trial of perpetrators of all the grenade and bomb attacks in the previous years across the country. Law Minister Moudud Ahmed at the talk show 'What Islam says and what we do?' on satellite TV channel ATN Bangla at 12:50pm on Monday said, 'Kibria might have survived if the helicopter could be sent immediately', Asma Kibria told journalists at a press briefing at her Dhanmondi residence yesterday.
