First AGM of buying house assoc held

The first annual general meeting of Bangladesh Garment Buying House Association was held in Dhaka on Sunday.The AGM formed a 19-member executive committee (EC) to gear up the association's activities. Qayum Reza Chowdhury has been elected the president of the new committee while M Zakir Hossain, M Shahe-E Alam and KI Hossain Babul were elected vice presidents. The committee will primarily work to eliminate the existing bottlenecks in some 800 buying houses operating in the country, said Qayum Reza Chowdhury.
