The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Eleven's second outing in the Duleeep Trophy cricket competition has been shifted from Jaipur to the Indian Railways Stadium in Delhi where groundsmen are racing against time to restore the wicket to be suitable for the match starting on Tuesday. The reason for the hurry in giving finishing touches to the pitch is that Railways Officers had played on it in the last two days even after a decision by the Indian cricket board to shift the match from the capital of Rajasthan state to Delhi. Indian cricket board Secretary S K Nair said the decision to shift the venue of the match was taken some days ago. Although there is no official word on why the match was shifted to Delhi, it is understood that a bitter feud within Rajasthan Cricket Association prompted the Board's decision. Having badly lost the first match against East Zone in Nagpur last week, the BCB side led by Mohammad Ashraful is looking forward to salvage some pride from the encounter against Central Zone. But Bangladesh have suffered a jolt in their build up nor the second match with their top-order batsman Rajin Saleh returning home yesterday following symptoms of measles, coach Dave Whatmore said after the visiting team had a workout at the nets here. "Saleh had developed rashes and after the incubation period the rashes have gone but he should return home and take rest," Whatmore said. Whatmore does not appear to be worried about the nature of the pitch "My team will play on any kind of wicket prepared for the match." He said that the Indian cricket board informed him during the match in Nagpur that the next game of Bangladesh would be held either in Delhi or Meerut in Uttar Pradesh state. Meanwhile, Central Zone will be captained by Indian Railways batsman JP Yadav in place of Test star Mohammed Kaif, who will lead the Indian Cricket Board President's Eleven against the Pakistan team in their lone opener from March 3.
