Pitha Utsab Udjapan Parisad is organising the festival for the second time.

A total of 25 stalls with different types of traditional cake will take part in the festival.

Prof Dr Anupam Sen, a social scientist, will formally inaugurate the festival by lighting flambeau at 6.00am.

A cultural function will be held soon after the inaugural session.

A discussion will be held in the afternoon with Journalist Nasiruddin Chowdhury in the chair.

Begum Mushtari Shafi, widow of a martyr, will attend the meeting as chief guest while Prof Dr Hamida Banu and Journalist Obaidul Quader will be the discussants.
