The National Sports Council-owned football ground adjacent to the newly built Bangladesh Football Federation Bhaban at Arambagh in Dhaka has been allegedly taken over by some influential local people who use it to keep their cattle, rickshaws and buses. An Asian Football Confederation (AFC) representative is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka on February 12 to have a look at and around the BFF building which has been built with funds provided by FIFA. AFC president Mohammad Bin Hammam's possible arrival in Dhaka to inaugurate the BFF Bhaban in April will depend on the representative's assessment report . PHOTO: STAR
