Faizur new chief engineer of RHD

AKM Faizur Rah-man has been appointed chief engineer on current charge of Roads and High-ways Depart-ment (RHD) on Sunday. Faizur Rahman replaced Sheikh Rabiul Islam, who retired from the service the same day. He joined RHD as assistant engineer in 1973 after graduating from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). He has special training on bridge engineering from Japan in 1982 and traveled several countries, including Finland, Philippines and the United States.
