Appeal for help

Ratul, a boy of six and a half years, has long been suffering from blood cancer.

He is now undergoing chemotherapy under the supervision of Prof MA Hye at Dhaka Ahsania Mission Cancer Hospital.

Doctors have recommended immediate bone marrow transplantation to save his life.

For this, Ratul needs to travel to Singapore where such treatment is available at an estimated cost of Tk 40 lakh.

Sheikh Mizanur Rahman, father of Ratul, is a farmer who hails from Sonakhali village under Fakirhat upazila of Bagerhat district. He has already sold all his property for the treatment of his son.

He has appealed to the generous people to extend a helping hand to save his son's life.
