The qualifying rounds of Karotoa zone for the Pepsi 17th National Handball Championship (women) began at the Rangpur Stadium yesterday.On the opening day, Panchagarh won both of their matches, defeating Joypurhat 20-7 and Rajshahi 18-14. Gaibandha, meanwhile, lost both their matches. In the morning, they lost 3-2 to Netrokona and later suffered a 14-0 defeat at the hands of hosts Rangpur.
