Prime Minister Khaleda Zia will inaugurate the book fair, organised by the National Book Centre (NBC) on the premises of Shilpakala Academy.

The theme of this year's fair is "Family library enlightens the home".

About 115 publishing houses and Iranian Cultural Centre and World Bank will take part in the fair. A total of 146 book stalls have been set up at the fair venue.

The entry fee has been fixed at Tk 2 and the fair will remain open from 3.00pm to 9.00pm everyday. But on Fridays, it will open at 11.00am.
