3 teams in city to see Saarc summit preparations

Advance official teams from India, Sri Lanka and the Maldives arrived in the city yesterday to see the preparations of the 13th Saarc summit beginning on January 9.They will hold meetings with officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and also visit the summit venue and other places the Saarc leaders will visit during the three-day summit, said an official source. The officials are expected to stay in the city for a couple of days, the source added.
