Announcement
The joy and pride of Bijoy Dibash is again with us. We believe there are many untold stories of those magnificent, glorious and eventful days since almost every citizen went through personal experiences of tragedy, triumph and jubilation. We want to document them. The Daily Star invites its readers to share with us their experiences. Please send write-ups of not more than 500 words each along with rare photographs on the memories of 1971. The selected ones will be published in the Special Supplement on the occasion of Bijoy Dibash. The articles should reach The Daily Star office at 19, Kawran Bazar, Dhaka 1215 by hand or e-mail to dseditor @gononet.com by December 9, 2004. The readers are requested to write 'Special Supplement 16 December' on the envelope or above the article on e-mail.
