New office bearers of ins assoc
M Shamsul Alam and M Haider Chowdhury have been elected chairman and vice-chairman of Bangladesh Insurance Association by its newly elected fifteen-member Executive Committee for 2005-2006 term.Shamsul Alam is the managing director of Reliance Insurance Limited while Haider Chowdhury is the chairman of National Life Insurance Co Ltd, says a press release. The other thirteen members of the Executive Committee are Sheikh Kabir Hossain, Nizamuddin Ahmed, Abdul Matlub Ahmad, Jahurul Islam Chowdhury, Ahasanul Islam, AK Azizul Huq Chaudhuri, RN Das, Das Deba Prashad, Md Aliuzzaman Khan, AKM Iftekhar Ahmad, PK Roy, Syed Shahriyar Ahsan and Shah Abul Kashem.
