3 die in road accidents

Three unidentified people including a woman died in road accidents in Mirpur, Mohakhali and Khilkhet Wednesday night.A man aged about 32 years was crossing the road near fire service office in Mirpur-10 at 2:30am when a truck ran over him. The man in green lungi and red shirt died on the spot. In Mohakhali, a speeding truck hit a man of about 56 years when he was walking by the road in Amtoli at 12:45am. Gulshan police rushed the man in Khaki trousers to the Combined Military Hospital, but he died on the way. A woman of about 25 in salwar and kamiz was crossing the road near Khilkhet petrol pump at 10:15pm when a passenger bus ran over her and left her dead on the spot. All the bodies were kept at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital morgue until yesterday.
