JS session prorogued


The 14th session of the Jatiya Sangsad, which began on October 28, was prorogued last night after 11 working days.

A number of bills including the Jatiya Sangsad (Reserved Women's Seat) Bill 2004, The Penal Code (Amendment) Bill 2004, The Registration (Amendment) Bill 2004, The Transfer of Property (Amendment) Bill 2004, The Specific Relief (Amendment) Bill 2004, The Limitation (Amendment) Bill 2004, and The Death and Birth Registration Bill 2004 were passed during the session.

the winter session of parliament will be held in January next.
