Selina Bahar passes way

Prof Selina Bahar Zaman, a well-known figure in the educational, literary and cultural arena, passed away early yesterday at the age of 64.She is survived by her husband Engineer Badiuzzaman, a former director of the BCIC, and a son, daughter-in-law and a grandchild. Selina, who taught mathematics in different colleges, including Badrunnessa College and Jagannath University College was associated with Bangla Academy, Mahila Parishad, and Dhaka University Alumni Association. Author of several books, she also edited many publications. Her qulkhawani will be held after Asr prayers tomorrow at "Rima", 10 Eskaton Garden.
