World Aids Day today

The World Aids Day will be observed today amid fears of widespread prevalence of HIV/Aids because of the high risk behaviour by the injecting drug users, commercial sex workers and migrants.Different organisations have drawn up elaborate programmes, including rallies, concerts, poster exhibitions and discussions, to mark the day. President Inajuddin Ahmed will formally inaugurate the programme at Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre at 10.00am.
