Russia will soon send a team of experts to Bangladesh to review the country's energy sector potential for investment, visiting Russian Energy Minister Sergey A Oganesyan told this while meeting State Minister for Energy and Mineral Resources AKM Mosharraf Hossain yesterday.

Oganesyan emphasised on deep-sea exploration and sought information about Bangladesh's laws and regulations for a foreign investor.

The Russian minister also wanted to know about the oil and gas blocks which are not owned by any oil company.
