US polling places see scattered problems

A large crowd of US citizens line up to vote outside the Miami Dade Country Elections Department Headquarters in Miami Florida Monday. Some 1.4 million voters out of a total of some 10 million registered voters in Florida have voted early ahead of yesterday's presidential elections. A civic rights group has warned that legal challenges could again delay the outcome of the US presidential election for weeks if the race is as close as opinion polls suggest. PHOTO: AFP
