1,650 bullets recovered in Bandarban

Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) on Monday recovered 1,650 rounds of bullets of M-16 rifles from Baishari in Naikhongchhari upazila.With this seizure, BDR recovered 4,595 rounds of bullets of M-16 rifles in 10 days. BDR's 40 Battalion led by Lt Col Hasinur Rahman recovered the bullets in different operations under cover of darkness. Last week, BDR the same battalion recovered three AK-47 rifles, 169 ammunitions of heavy machine gun, 99 rounds of bullets of SMG, 47 rounds of bullets of AK-47, 37 powerful wireless sets and nine binoculars form the aforesaid area.
