Tangail BNP secretary, AL leaders among 16 sued

Delwar Hossain, father of slain Tangail district Jatiytabadi Chatra Dal (JCD) vice president Abdur Rouf, filed a case with Tangail Sadar police station accusing 16 Awami League andBNP leaders and activists including Tangail district BNP general secretary of Maniruzzaman Bulbul on Sunday, four days after the murder. Abdur Rouf was shot dead by some unidentified assailants on October 26 night in front of his residence in Tangail town. The other accused include AL leaders Ataur Rahaman Khan, Amanur Rahaman Khan Rana, Shahidur Rahaman Khan Mukti, Jahidur Rahman Khan Kakon, Tangail pourasobha commissioner Masu-dur Rahaman Mamud, Tangail district BCL vice-president Sabbir Kabir Shasat, BCL activists Alamgir Hossen Chana, Sanuar Hossen Chanu, Iqbal Hossen, Mohammad Nasir Uddin, Shramik League leader Abbas Ali, Abdul Mamun, Galkata Shahin, Rajmistri Mannan and Shahadad Hossen.
