Police recovered the body of Alamgir Hossain, 30, worker of a tailoring shop at Chandichwak in Dhanmondi, with a stab wounds in his chest from near a shop on Dhaka-Chittagong road at around 3:00am.

The criminals killed but did not take away his mobile phone and a gold chain, police said.

Victim's nephew Sumon said his uncle used to return to his Pagla house at Fatullah in Narayanganj at 1:00am, but he did not return home on Monday.

In another incident, police recovered the body of an unidentified youth aged about 28 at Bakultola in Keraniganj yesterday morning with stab injuries in his body.

Police suspects criminals stabbed the youth sometime at night and dumped the body at Bakultola.
