Airbus to set up engineering centre in China

Global aircraft manufacturer Airbus will set up an engineering centre in China next year and hire 200 staff by the end of 2008, the company said on Monday. It is the first such investment made by the company outside of Europe in three years, said senior vice president and Airbus China president Lawrence Barron.
