Passing-out ceremony of 291 new SIs held

The passing-out ceremony of 291 outside cadet sub-inspectors (male) under the 2003 batch was held at the central parade ground of Sarda Police Academy here yesterday.Inspector General of Police (IGP) Shohudul Haque was the chief guest at the colourful function and also inspected a march-past and took salute presented by the smartly turned out new recruits. Principal of the Academy Chowdhury Quamrul Ahsan, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police of Rajshahi range Nur Muhamad and senior police officials were present. Addressing the occasion, IGP Shouhudul Haque reminded the new recruits about their sacred duty to the nation and urged them to discharge their responsibility with utmost sincerity.
