Milad held to stave off diarrhoea

People in David Company Para in Gaibandha pourashava held a Milad Mahfil on Saturday to remain free from attack by diarrhoea.Diarrhoeal diseases are spreading alarmingly in the pourasabha and other areas of the district. In the last few days, three persons died in David Company Para, one in Paschimpara and three in Baniyerjan in the pourashava area. The diseases are spreading. Diarrhoea claimed over 50 lives in the district in the last two months, according to sources at the Civil Surgeon's office. But the unofficial figure would be much more.
