Three children killed over land dispute


Unknown assailants broke into the house of a man and killed his two daughters and one son and critically hurt another son in Bhimshi village in Srimangal Saturday midnight.

Police suspect criminals killed Jesmin, 8, Kulsum, 17, and Khalil, 10, following a land dispute with their parent Alauddin, who was not home at the time of the attack.

The criminals also struck Shafique, 28, another son of Alauddin, with sharp weapons and left him thinking he was dead. He is now receiving treatment at the upazila health complex.
