JCD men attack IU official, seven other staffs

Deputy controller of examinations and seven other staffs of the Islamic University (IU) were injured in an attack allegedly by JCD men on the campus yesterday.Witnesses said about 12 JCD men attacked the office of the controller of examinations at about 11:00am as their leader was not given the mark sheet without a fee of Tk 25. The injured are Deputy Controller Mohammad Ali and staff members Murad, Al Amin, Jabbar, Saidur Rahman, Tapan, Nurul Islam Selim and Fazlur Rahman. On information, police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control. The officers and employees of the university strongly condemned the incident and demanded exemplary punishment to the attackers.
