Tangail brushed aside Mymensingh 6-0 to move into the second round of the JFA Cup under-16 football tournament at the Jamalpur Stadium yesterday.Ripon slammed in four goals while Salam and Masud had the other two. Madaripur blanked Shariatpur 4-0 at Rajbari and Panchagarh thrashed Thakurgaon 4-1 while the other matches were decided on penalties. Kushtia eliminated Jhenidah 5-4 after a 1-1 draw in regulation time at Meherpur, Bogra beat Jaipurhat 5-4 after a 2-2 draw at Natore, Moulvi-bazar edged Chandpur 3-2 after a goalless draw at Laxmipur and Satkhira defeated Barisal 3-1 after goalless 90 minutes at Barguna. Cox's Bazar received walkover against Brahmanbaria at the Feni Stadium.
