At last Rahela failed to combat with death. Miscreants raped her while she was returning home from work place. The miscreants not only raped her but also cut her throat and burnt her throwing acid. It proved once again that working women are insecure everywhere. She was admitted to hospital and suffered for a few more days before her death. Rahela was working in a garment factory of Savar EPZ. She did not get any help from her employer, even they did not visit her. Rahela could identify the culprits. But she didn't live long enough to see her tormentors being punished ( if they are punished at all !).
