Child Rights Week begins today

Elaborate programmes have been taken to observe the International Children Day and Child Rights Week throughout the country from today to create a greater awareness against child trafficking, child labour, child repression and child murder.The theme of this year's observance of the occasion is "Interest of Children Above All During Cyclone, Floods and Disasters." President Iajuddin Ahmed and Prime Minister Khaleda Zia in separate messages stressed the need for developing the children as good citizens as they have to shoulder the future responsibility of the nation.
