Our Correspondent, Barisal
Mainul Hassan, staff reporter and Barisal bureau chief of the Daily Ittefaq, died at Kidney Founda-tion Hospital in Dhaka yesterday at the age of 54.He was also a district correspondent of Channel I, BBC and Reuters. He is survived by his wife, mother, brother and sister. A founder member of Barisal Reporters' Unity, he was also a president of Barisal Press Club.
