Local shoe makers get $3.70lakh orders at German fair
Bangladesh's shoe manufacturers have received spot orders of around $3.70 lakh in the recently held GDS shoe fair in Düsseldorf, Germany.Under the auspices of the Export Promotion Bureau, four Bangladeshi exhibitors-- Bay Footwear, Jenny's Shoes Ltd, Landmark Footwear and Leatherex Footwear Ltd-- participated in the September 10-19 fair, says a press release. In the show, Bangladeshi companies also received prospective orders worth around $6.50 lakh.
