Mohammad Sumon, 25, was going to Satarkul with an on duty police team in a pick-up van at around 12:45pm. As the vehicle bounced on the road, a bullet was fired accidentally, Badda police sources said.

Sumon, constable No. 20498, was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital with pellet injures in his left foot. He is now receiving treatment at Rajarbagh Police Lines Hospital.
